As mentioned on my Instagram, a package came for me yesterday!! Here’s my very first box of Kwerkee!!

And well, as the box suggests, I was indeed in fits of excitement when I opened it, and look at what I got!!

The packaging is so adorable, and it was so yummy I finished the marshmallows even before I even got started typing these down… Heheh!

And here’s my absolute LOVE!!!! This was the first item that caught my eye when I opened my Kwerkee! Make a guess what is it!

It’s actually an amplified loud speaker, in the shape of a cute bird in pink diamantés! ♥

I removed her out of the box and played a few songs in loud volumes, and it’s really distortion-free!! It’s perfect for me when I hang out with my friends, it’s loud enough for us to play some songs and sing along!

Last Saturday, I was invited to my very first Samsung event to promote their campaign for the GALAXY Note 10.1!

We were to draw our love dedications to your lover, family or even friends on the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE and the most creative design stands to win the Love Mobile, which is a MINI Stratford!!!
As you all know, I own an S3 so I was quite eager to see the new GALAXY Note 10.1 LTE.
Here’s my very first look at the new Note!!

It’s really sleek and it isn’t very heavy, which is good!! I went on to explore the functions of the Note 10.1 and it was really simple to use with the S Pen and I couldn’t wait to start drawing my love dedication!

But first, let me introduce the prize that everyone was eyeing for…

As I’m not very good in Art, I spent a loooong time cracking my brains on what to draw (at the same time posing for pictures :p) and then, I had an idea! My Facebook fanpage( https://www.facebook.com/noontalk.kimberly ) was on its way to hitting 80,000 likes on that very day and I figured that I should reciprocate the love that everyone has been showering me with!
So firstly, I started with taking a of picture of myself… Yes, you can actually create a note with your picture as the background!

In between drawing my dedications, had a short interview with the Muttons on 987fm!

First time meeting the Muttons and it was really pleasant! Thank you~
Andddddd….my love dedication is finally done!

I thought the whole process of decorating on the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE was very easy and fun to play around with! You can do so many things!! You can type out a text in your desired font and color or you can hand write it yourself! Plus, there’s also cute cliparts that you can use for people who are not so good in drawing (like me)!!

All in all, I thought this campaign was a creative and different way to show our love to people close to our hearts. You can express it in so many forms, a poem, a short message or even a drawing. It’s really much more meaningful than the usual gifts you might receive!

And the good news is Samsung set a new Singapore record for the “Most number of personalized messages projected on a screen”!!!! Whooo! It was endorsed by the Singapore Book of Records, the record was set at the “Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 LTE LoveMobile” when the 200th personalized love message was projected on a big screen. Feels so good to be part of those 200 messages!!!

Hello! Been a long time since I’ve blogged so I’m finally back to share
some exciting news with all of you! You may or not have heard of this
but…..I’m the ambassador for PASTAMANIA!!! ^^ I’m so thrilled because
I’ve always been a huge fan of PastaMania!! So now, I get to enjoy my
favorite food all the time!!!

So anyway, thought I’d share some of my favorite dishes with you! (: I
went to PastaMania over the weekend with my family and we ordered so
much!!!

PastaMania is currently having their signature dishes promotion so we
definitely did not pass that up!

Order any of their signature dishes and you can top up an appetizer/dessert and a carafe for only $5.50!

These were our appetizers! Honey Baked Chicken and Cheese sticks!! Cheese sticks are my favoriteeee! My first time trying the Honey Baked Chicken and it is delicious!!!

This was what I ordered! Turkey bacon Cheesy Crumble! I generally like all flavors of the cheesy crumble! The original one or the one with Ham!

My brother ordered the Meatball which I kept stealing!! :p

And finally, my mum ordered the Seafood Tom Yam! This is also one of my favorites! Love the hint of spiciness. Yum!

Of course we need drinks to go with our pastas! My favorite carafe is the Apple Mint which is obviously the one in green and the one in red is Passion Tea Quencher!
Don’t you just feel like eating after looking at all the pictures?!

Well, here’s me enjoying my Turkey Bacon Cheesy Crumble! As you can see, my pasta choice has always been fussili!
We were all starving and we enjoyed our pastas so much! Planning to go back for their pizzas and baked rice soon!!!

The official launch of TGX2012 happened yesterday at around 10am at Singapore EXPO Hall 5!!

When I first walked into Expo Hall 5, I was fascinated at all the different booths and all the gadgets displayed. What WOW-ed me even more were the tables of computers lined up for the contestants to get their game on!! (Most of the contestants even bring their own keyboard and mouse!! How cool is that?!)

Yi Xi and I then headed backstage to get ourselves prepared for the launch..
And….TGX2012 is officially open!!! ^^

The host of the day, Edmund! (Ironically….because Yi Xi’s dad is Edmund too.. HAHAH!)

The first booth we visited was DRAGON NEST!!! I heard so much about Dragon Nest from Yi Xi but I have never tried it before so, they gave me a chance to play!! It was a 3 vs 3 team challenge! So there’s 3 people in one team challenging the other… It was fun and pretty easy to play! Plus the game characters and the game scene is super pretty!

I was definitely not the best at Dragon Nest but….our team won! All thanks to Yi Xi! Hahah!

Our next stop was REDBULL!!

All the game playing requires energy…so here we go, all of us gulping down the ice cold red bull!! ^^

After charging up, we continued playing computer and iPad games at the other booths!

We even tried F1 racing!! Woohoo!

Obviously, Yi Xi finished his race faster than I did and ended up having to wait for me to complete mine….STRESS!

If you had watched the news yesterday, you probably would have seen my interview for TGX2012 about how long I spend on gaming daily~

We continued walking around the booths and I discovered many interesting facts about gaming… Like how much knowledge and hard work is put into coming up with and designing a game. It was a pity that COS X was not held yesterday though.. We wanted to take a look at the Cosplayers so badly.. :( We then arrived at the Cherry Credits stop and Yi Xi and I won a Hound Plushie!!!!!

I had tons of fun at TGX2012 with everyone present! And it was a first time for me to see such a huge platform for gaming competitions. Just imagine, a huge stage with teams playing against each other and a huge screen to monitor their amazing game-play. Cool, isn’t it? There’s also games where you can play for free or have friendly competitions with your friends! Xbox, PS3, cosplay…they have it all there! So what are you waiting for?? Tmr is the LAST day!! FINALS for the gaming competitions will be held and of course, COS X!!! ^^

Miss it…and you have to wait for another year… :( So, head down TOMORROW if you haven’t visited TGX2012 yet!

It’s coming to the end of August!!! How fast!!! :( August has been a crazy but amazing month for me… (Although I’ve been busy busy) :p

I turned 17 in the beginning of August and received so much love from my family, friends and fans!! Feeling so blessed! ♥ So I just wanna take this opportunity to thank everyone who celebrated for me and also those who wished me a happy birthday! It was indeed HAPPY! ♥THANK YOU♥

I also became OSIM and TGX2012’s ambassadors!!! ^^ All of these which I am very very grateful for. Thank you for the opportunities and chances given to me. And the people who helped me tremendously! I will never forget that!

And of course, the debut of 我们等你!!!! It is unbelievable that #dontstop has hit over 988,000 viewers yesterday!!!! You can’t imagine all of our joy! All of our hard work for those 3 months are so worth it!

A huge huge thank you to all of you who loves and support #dontstop! #dontstop watching alright? Its gonna get better and better!! ^^

And the main point of this post: 我们都不完美!!! Ah! Imperfect’s gala was 2 days ago on the 27th and like what Ian and Edwin said, it was just like a dream. We waited so long and finally, the day has come!!

It’s time for the Imperfect’s gala premier!!! We headed down to Vivocity and everyone of us couldn’t contain our excitement! It was my very first red carpet and I was very very nervous. Luckily I had the 4 of them with me! ^^

And its time for the movie!! Omg. The moment we have been waiting for for sooo long! It’s finally here. Sitting through the whole movie, we squealed and laughed when it was our funny scenes, and we also cried seeing when it came to the sad parts. :’( The fighting scenes were shot amazing and cinematography was so good! I can’t even express how incredible and wonderful the movie was! You HAVE, MUST watch it to find out yourself!!! It’s a pity the movie is NC16 though… :( ahhh..

Has everyone be diligently watching “Don’t Stop Believing”?? Because I have!! ^^ Anyway, today I won’t be blogging about #dontstop but about TGX2012.

I headed down to Funan DigitaLife mall as TGX2012’s ambassador for my very first mall tour appearance. Pleased to have met Jacqui, the host for the day, for the very first time! ^^ Went up on stage for a little chit chat and let everyone have a better insight on TGX2012!

We even had a Q&A session after that for people who were listening attentively! (Although the questions were pretty simple! Heheh!) :p

And of course, all of them answered correctly~ (:

Finally, it was time for the event that I was highly anticipating!! It was time for the cosplayers!!!!

Very very impressive huh!!! Their costumes are all hand-made by themselves and it’s so bulky that they couldn’t even walk up the stage in their get-up! Wish there were more than just 4 of them though… :(

Well, if you didn’t….it’s okay! Gonna do a short account of what happened that day! (: So, Yi Xi (Edmund Chen’s son) and I headed down to this fascinating place, Movie Mania. When we walked in, we immediately saw so many costumes everywhere!!! So, we couldn’t wait and started to pick what the possible outfits we’d wanna try on.

And yes, I did pick out sailormoon at first…. :s Used to love sailormoon so much!

Hello there!

Haven’t been updating this little space here and just thought that I should probably get started with it again. So, I guess I should start with 我们等你!!

Filming for Don’t Stop Believing has already ended and it has been a fruitful 2 and a half months for me. I have learnt so much from our fellow cast members, our dear 3 directors and the amazing crew! As always, every filming production has a different experience and I absolutely love each and everyone of them.

So, firstly, let me introduce 邓怡琳 to all of you.

Okay, just kidding. (That’s Edwin’s mask by the way. Heheh!)

This is the real 怡琳.

As time passed while filming, I grew to love Yilin. She’s reallly……..

I’ll let you find out by yourself when the show airs! :p Maybe you’ll love her like I do. Or maybe you won’t. Either way, I still hope everyone of you will support 我们等你! ^^

This is generally most of the people I worked with the most in the show.. [and Xu Bin but he wasn’t in the scene that day] Love working with all of them so much!

Everyday on set was full of laughter. Although we had tiring scenes to film but we went through it together with jokes and memories that I’ll never forget!!
I’m really gonna miss everyone so so much… :’(

Was any of you present then? It was held at Scape and if you all attended, it was an event that promotes us living in a tobacco-free environment! Doesn’t that idea sounds amazing?? It does to me.. hahah! To do these, there were dance competitions and performances at the party! Daniel Ong hosted the whole show and the dance competition started at 8pm! 10 shortlisted dance teams competed for the winning prize of $3000!! They also had to incorporate 30 seconds of the “Live It Up” song into their item!

Then it was time for CJ crew’s performance!!! Yayyy!! They worked very hard for this performance-for every performance in fact!! ^^

and…CJ boys!! Whooo! Laoshi also judged for the competition actually!

And this is a photo of Dejan Tubic, a dance choreographer who has choreographed for celebrities like Usher and shows like So You Think You Can Dance and America’s Got Talent! Such an amazing choreographer!!
I thought that this movement was really meaningful and we can always replace lighting up with positive activities like sports, dance and music! So, maybe you might wanna get started by taking up some classes at CJ!!! ^^ hahah!
It’s really better to be a non-smoker, if you ask me… We’ll look better, be more fit and healthy, have better spending power and have a better environment!!!
