Live It Up Without Lighting Up

LIUWLU - 21st March

Was any of you present then? It was held at Scape and if you all attended, it was an event that promotes us living in a tobacco-free environment! Doesn’t that idea sounds amazing?? It does to me.. hahah! To do these, there were dance competitions and performances at the party! Daniel Ong hosted the whole show and the dance competition started at 8pm! 10 shortlisted dance teams competed for the winning prize of $3000!! They also had to incorporate 30 seconds of the “Live It Up” song into their item!

A group photo of the consolation and winning teams!

The two final teams waiting for the results to be announced!! - Siren and Fad Faction! (:

Finally, the winner is…FAD FACTION!!

HAHAH! A picture of Dr K Vijaya giving out the prizes and getting confused. :p
Then it was time for CJ crew’s performance!!! Yayyy!! They worked very hard for this performance-for every performance in fact!! ^^

CJ girls!!! heheh… All so powerful!!! ^^ They did a Kpop dance item! (:

and…CJ boys!! Whooo! Laoshi also judged for the competition actually!

And this is a photo of Dejan Tubic, a dance choreographer who has choreographed for celebrities like Usher and shows like So You Think You Can Dance and America’s Got Talent! Such an amazing choreographer!!
I thought that this movement was really meaningful and we can always replace lighting up with positive activities like sports, dance and music! So, maybe you might wanna get started by taking up some classes at CJ!!! ^^ hahah!
It’s really better to be a non-smoker, if you ask me… We’ll look better, be more fit and healthy, have better spending power and have a better environment!!!
So…..LIVE IT UP WITHOUT LIGHTING UP EVERYONE!! (:

Shisha Smoking

Hello! Been a long while since I’ve used my tumblr but I came across this really
interesting video and I thought I should share it. Take a look at this video, http://breathe.sg/shisha (:

The video is actually about assembling the parts of a whole hookah but it’s really
funny how the guru puts it in a way that he’s actually telling me about the harmful
effects of Shisha! I’ve never tried Shisha before but I’ve heard from people that
Shisha was different from cigarette smoking and totally harmless but after watching
the video, I think we’ve got the wrong perception of Shisha smoking. Shisha smoking
can actually be wayyyyy worse than cigarette smoking!!! It’s actually quite scary
come to think about it… :s

Do you know that as short as a 45-minute session of shisha smoking, there’s as
much smoke as that from 100 or more cigarettes, as much tar as that from 20 low-tar
cigarettes and the carbon monoxide concentration in each puff of water-pipe smoke
is higher than that from a puff of cigarette smoke? And there’s definitely ALOT more
nicotine in one session of shisha smoking compared to a cigarette!! Regular shisha
smokers have lungs that function at a 25% lower rate than non-smokers. It’s also
quite unhygenic to be sharing the hookah mouthpiece with so many people…

So, I guess I won’t ever try Shisha anymore.. :s Hahah!

Look at this hilarious breakdown of the hookah… I think it is very well done as it
allows us to absorb the necessary information yet have a good laugh about it. Scum
Tunnel, hahahah!

Everyone should watch the video and spread it to all your friends! Especially if they
like to frequent Shisha shops… :( Also, take a look at their website!! http://breathe.sg/shisha

Spread this around to your loved ones if you don’t want them to be oblivious to all
these!!

NAFA..? :)

Been seeing a lot of NAFA’s open house posters around so I got curious and went to check them out! As most of you know, I’ve considered going to Laselle after my O’levels for theatre but I feel NAFA might be another option too!

Went to research on some of their courses on the NAFA Admissions FB page, and it looks like they offer quite a wide range of courses!

Just checked out their Facebook site, a lot of info available! And I just realised that you can take a picture with the NAFA open house posters all over Singapore and join the “Take a Shot” competition on their Facebook!! :p

They have like Dance, Music, Fine Art, Fashion Studies and Design and Media but of course, I’m most interested in their Diploma in Theatre! :p I’m actually also considering their Diploma in Arts Management and Education. (: Hahah!

Plus, if you do a Diploma in Theatre, you can do a lot of other things other than becoming an actor/actress!

Maybe I’ll head down to their open house either on the 13th (that’s like later!) or 14th Jan (tomorrow) before I decide on where I wanna head to but NAFA seems like a pretty good choice now!

Their schedule for their open house is like fully packed!! Should be fun! :p There are workshops, showcases, talks and so many other stuff lined-up for Theatre (and of course the rest)!!

Click here for more details ☺

Hmm. Have a lot of thinking to do…

Really bored from all the studying… :( So, if you followed me on twitter, you would know that my Biology Science Practical involved potatoes and after that, I was craving for potatoes really badly.. Which made me really wanna have Macdonald’s french fries! heheh. So I went down to Mac’s and had a Fillet O Fish with extra cheese! :p And since it was a weekend, double game labels!!! whooo! Had two instant wins and a few of the coloured tabs.. Couldn’t match anything though… :( and the $80, 000 has already been won.. :( Ohh well.. Play Mac’s monopoly and if you ‘don’t want the game labels, give them to me! :p heheh!

So much to win! Collected a few already and got a few instant wins like an iced Milo and $30 Denizen voucher! ^^ Really hope I can win one of their grand prizes, like $80,000 cash from Visa, Volkswagen Touran, A trip to Atlanta from Coca Cola and A trip to Prague from Dynasty Travel!! I wantttt! :( We can win over 3 ways though..Collect to win, Instant win and also the Chance Card!! The new Chance card lets you win $100 instantly and win any unclaimed prizes! So, I hope my chances of winning can increase! :p And since they say that All Prizes Must Go, hurry collect all the game labels!!! Don’t give chance (pun intended) HAHAH! :p

celinejessandra:

CJ Crew’s K-Pop segment for Esplanade Da:ns Festival ended happily tonight on a high~ The smiles on their faces, the encouragement from family, friends and fans made all the hard work and effort worth it.

Together, my CJ darlings made it happen again. Very proud of you, my dears. Keep Inspiring. =)

Lotsa Love,

Cel.
